As I been going through some rough times with a lot of spiritual warfare, I've been finding my comfort from the promises of our God in his Word. Everytime the enemy lies to me I start reminding him and myself of the promises of God. Not only does it build my faith, but after repeating and thinking about the scriptures I find that he flees, which is another promise of God: James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
As I submit in believing and also resist in believing, the devil flees from me. Then I have a period of peace before the enemy finds another opening. Without the word of God, I'm helpless. Praise God for his word and thank him for victory in Christ Jesus.

ReplyDeleteFour years, later, lol. Yeah, the more you talk about God and recall all the good things he has done, the easier it is to keep the faith. Thanks for your commment, I'm hoping to get back into this
